But today, January, stress doubles down as the credit card statements roll in and the scale says you gained weight.
The reason that’s important to know?
Food! Under stress, your brain offers the best tool it knows to give you a dopamine shot of joy. My flavor is salty or spicy. Yours might lean more toward sweet or carbs.
In the next set of days, if you find yourself eating over the sink or late at night when everyone else has gone to bed, extend forgiveness to your beautiful, loving self.
