Hello, Beauties! Today’s nugget: Fall in love with what is: The truth about reality. The reality I’m inviting you to fall in love with is your current number on the scale and body in the mirror. Fall in love with what is: The truth about reality.
Traditional weight loss assumes that the version of you today is substandard and therefore must be changed. It is based on fear, shame, and self-judgment.
That fear keeps you trying to lose weight for years. Even when it’s not working, you stay in diet mode. Your thoughts insist that if you stop trying you’ll gain even more weight. Quitting feels like giving up on yourself.
But, is that really true? Challenge that thought:
- invite you to clutch them as if they are valuable treasures.
- masquerade as facts.
- imagine they are protecting you from pain.
But, what if the thought you are believing, while well-intentioned, is not true?

It’s a radical thought.
Your ability to create change in your body is directly related to your ability to be with the discomfort (and uncertainty) that arises from letting go of what doesn’t work.
Are you willing to stop fighting yourself? To hang out with yourself? Like the coolest friend you’ve ever had – the one who loves you even when you’re a hot mess.
Trusting your body – today – at this weight is the antidote to traditional weight loss. You don’t need a better diet plan, you need to fall in love with reality.
The value of your past weight loss experiences is the wisdom you gained about what does not work.
Your stories and patterns are actually your teachers.

Are you willing to stop dieting and start building a partnership with your body?
It’s ok if you feel equal parts curiosity and resistance. That’s just old thoughts trying to keep you from getting tricked into believing again and being disappointed when weight loss doesn’t happen.
