Your weight is NOT a life sentence.
YOUR WEIGHT IS NOT A LIFE SENTENCE.
You are not crazy, lazy or weak. You are not a failure. Your previous weight loss and regain do not predict your future.
There are reasons you haven’t lost the weight yet.
Do you remember the first time you thought “I need to lose weight?” In retrospect, you were probably a normal weight but you THOUGHT you were fat. You had fat thoughts. Those fat thoughts followed you all the way to your current weight. They got some reinforcements every time you lost and regained– angry thoughts, frustration thoughts, victim thoughts, shame thoughts, guilt thoughts. Mix them all together and you ate more.
Dieting made you fatter. How do I know that about you? Because I am you. In total frustration, I decided to just live. I choose to be successfully fat. I did not diet, I did not hate my body. I was functional. I was confident. I was sexy. I was loved without reservation. I just happened to do all that in a fat body. I was politically incorrect. I was a fat girl not interested in dieting. If that’s where you are as you read this, I am so excited you’re here!! You landed in exactly the right place. This is a safe space to find YOUR answers.
WHY do you eat when you’re not hungry? HOW do you stop once you understand WHY? What if you could give yourself something so valuable your body no longer needs to hold onto all that extra flesh?
Hint: The answer includes learning to give yourself your own undivided attention to unpack all the emotional baggage you’ve accumulated by living, feel the emotions you’ve packed away for years and find your voice. You were always a beautiful person, thin – fat- angry- joyful.
The answers I found for myself have become the gift I have to offer you. It’s finally your turn. Let’s get you off the weight loss roller coaster and teach you how to live effortlessly at your natural weight.
